New product for soil health and fertility
Product information Albit®–BR
(Albit® - BioRemediant)
|
Function
Albit-BR is a natural product made from
cereal sprouts using patented biotechnological fermentation process.
Albit-BR is used for environmental remediation, re-cultivation, and amelioration
of both agricultural and non-agricultural soils. It is applied into soil
before sowing of seeds, during watering, and also is used for foliar
spraying.
Albit-BR stimulates natural soil nitrogen fixation. In course
of one season, Albit-BR increases content of total nitrogen in soil by ca.
100 kg/hа and more, available nitrogen at early stages of plant growth by ca.
20 kg/hа, available phosphorus by ca. 20 kg/hа and more, depending on crop
and soil type. It accelerates decomposition of plant residues and humus accumulation,
increases cation exchange capacity (the ability of soil to retain nutrients),
cleans soil from pathogens (especially Fusarium), pesticides and pollutants.
Also soil structure is improved. All these effects of Albit-BR lead to restoration
and increase of soil fertility and higher yields. Albit-BR is used in organic
(Organic
Certificate No. OC RU.2605.C0168) and traditional agriculture.
Product description
Opaque liquid, light grey to light yellow in color, with possible precipitation
of loose sediment. Albit-BR is packaged in 1 liter plastic bottles, which
are packed in cardboard boxes of 16 pcs. in each. Albit-BR is also packaged
in 5-liter canisters. Plastic bottles and canisters with Albit-BR may
be slightly swollen during storage. In this case, properties and efficacy
of the product stay the same.
Storage
Albit-BR should be stored in a dry, clean, ventilated,
light-protected place in unopened original packaging. Keep away from
direct sunlight! Shelf life: two years at -20…+20°C. Store in refrigerator
not more than 3 months since the moment of the bottle opening.
Information on ingredients and chemical nature
Albit-BR is produced from sprouts of cereal crops. During a patented
three-phase process of aerobic and anaerobic composting, material of
cereal sprouts undergoes accelerated humification. The final product
consists of humified biomass of sprouts (2%) obtained during composting
and water.
The product is practically non-toxic (class IV toxicity).
Efficacy:
Nitrogen +
- With Albit-BR, a 44...95% increase in available nitrogen in soil was
observed at early stages of plant growth, when crops require nitrogen
the most (field trial on grey forest soil at Tesnitskoye LLC, Tula
Oblast); and a 164...347% increase in soil nitrogen was noted during
another field trial (turf podzol soil at All-Russian Research Institute
of Organic Fertilizers and Peat, Vladimir Oblast)
- 7...16% increase in total nitrogen content in soil after harvest observed
on white mustard. The non-leguminous crop did not drain soil off nitrogen
but enriched soil with it (trial at Tesnitskoye LLC).
- 17% increase in available nitrogen content as a result of Albit-BR
application on fallow land (field trial at All-Russian Research Institute
of Organic Fertilizers and Peat)
Fertility +
- 16...37% increase in cation exchange capacity (CEC), 3... 22% increase
in soil humus to control (Tesnitskoye LLC; Kaluga Scientific Research
Institute of Agriculture; Arkhangelsk Scientific Research Institute
of Agriculture)
Pathogens –
- 67-100% decrease in numbers of pathogenic fungi of Fusarium genus (trials
at Tesnitskoye LLC and Mycology and Algology Department of Lomonosov
MSU)
Yield +
- 21% increase in white mustard yield (Tesnitskoye
LLC)
- 11...29% increase in potato yield (All-Russian Research Institute
of Potato Farming, Moscow Oblast; Agricultural production cooperative
"Krasnoe", Yaroslavl Oblast; Institute of Agricultural Resources
and Economics, Stende, Latvia)
- 20...42% increase in tomato yield in open ground (Federal Scientific
Center for Vegetable Growing, Moscow Oblast); 100% increase in tomato and cucumber yield in
greenhouses (personal subsidiary farm of Golikova N.A., Tula Oblast)
- 9...20% increase in spring barley yield (All-Russian
Research Institute of Organic Fertilizers and Peat; Kaluga Scientific
Research Institute of Agriculture; Arkhangelsk Scientific Research
Institute of Agriculture)
- 191% increase in lupin yield (almost 3 times higher than control!)
(All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Lupin, Bryansk Oblast)
- 30...60% increase in apple yield (Subtropical
Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sochi, 2023,
2024)
Application recommendations
Shake well before application!
Before Albit-BR application, shake it well, dilute the product in water
and then stir the final solution. Preparing of working solution: recommended
application rate of Albit-BR mix well with small amount of water. Then,
the obtained solution is diluted with water (in working tank) up to required
final volume and then stir well. The working solution should be а homogeneous
liquid. Use it immediately after preparing of working solution. Albit-BR
contains sediment, therefore it is recommended to use sprayer filters
of at least 300 microns. The product may be combined with tank mixtures
with pesticides and fertilizers. It is important to note that pesticides
and fertilizers should be previously tested on the compatibility with
Albit-BR solution. Efficacy of the product may decrease in case of combination
with pesticides and agrochemicals. Working solution of Albit-BR is applied
in the morning or in the evening in rainless day. Standard boom or other
sprayers, watering and liquid fertilization systems, systems for applying
of solutions into rows during sowing are applied.
The main method of Albit-BR application – its applying into
the soil before sowing of seeds or tuber planting (no more than day before sowing/planting).
Working solution is applied into the soil or rows using sprayers with
the following immediate incorporation of the product into the soil to
the depth of a few centimeters. Soil humidity should be not less than
50% (lowest moisture capacity, maximum field moisture capacity).
Application rate of Albit-BR: 0.25-2.5 L/ha. A high effect of the product
is noted in the rate of 0.25 L/ha (increase of phosphorus availability
is especially observed). Application rate of 0.5 L/ha proved to be the
most effective in increase of nitrogen, available phosphorous, and soil
humus. Rates of 2-2.5 L/ha are suited for remediation of soil from pollution,
pesticides, pathogens and toxins. Optimal rate of Albit-BR application
– 1 L/ha: this rate has maximal positive effect on plants, improves the
soil structure and its ability to accumulate nutrition elements.
Application rate of working solution – 300-400 L/ha.
The same method is used for Albit-BR application into the fallow and
recultivation land: in the first half of growing season. Soil temperature
should be constantly positive (above 0°C).
Albit-BR may be applied for watering, root fertilizing, drip irrigation,
saturation of peat mixtures and soils, watering of soil before and during
planting of seedlings. This scheme of product application is suitable
for vegetables, garden and cucurbitaceous crops, berries and flowers
grown in open ground and also in greenhouses.
Concentration of working solution – 1-2 ml/10 L. Application rate of
working solution – 10 L/m2 or other rates depending on watering rate.
Watering with Albit-BR solution is recommended in the first half of growing
season 1-5 times with 10-15 day intervals.
Albit-BR application on fruit trees: watering after budding, then spraying
of trees after blossoming – beginning of fruit development.
Concentration of working solution – 1-5% (100-500 ml/10 L of water).
Application rate of working solution – 1 L/tree.
Notes: 1 lid of 1-liter flask contains 20 ml of Albit-BR. 1 tea spoon
– ca. 4 ml, 1 table spoon – 10 ml, standard cup – 200 ml.
